Senior Vice President, Simulation and Test Solutions

Originally from: I’m French with Italian roots.

Currently based: While I am based in Lyon, France, I share my time between Leuven, Belgium and Lyon.

Education: Advanced Management Program degree from INSEAD and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (INSA) Lyon, France.

Siemens tenure: Joined Siemens in 2005 by way of CD-adapco

Corporate values:  I’m proud to be a part of Siemens and our core values really resonate with me: committed to responsible actions; aim for excellence and promotion of ownership culture; and create sustainable value and purposeful technological innovation.

Not-so-corporate culture: At Siemens Digital Industries Software the pursuit of technological innovation is centered on our customers and their grand challenges, within a rich working environment where everyone’s contribution is valued, where inclusivity allows for diverse experiences to be expressed, and where professional talent development is fostered as an asset.

Real-world value from simulation: I believe in the value that simulation and analysis tools, whether they are software, hardware, or services, bring to the world. The use of our comprehensive Digital Twin has a direct and positive impact on how we live, how we travel from one place to another, how we get connected, and more importantly how we can be cured.

Adapt and evolve: I’m inspired when I consider how life appeared on Earth and its continuous evolution to adapt to the environment. We continue to adapt and now simulation is a key component, especially considering our drug development and manufacturing processes. Thanks to Simcenter’s comprehensive digital twin models we were able to help design new bioreactors to scale up vaccine production in a tight time constraint.

Future considerations: One of my favorite quotes is: “As for the future, our task is not to foresee it, but to enable it,” from Antoine de St Exupéry. One of my greatest lessons is to make things happen because of you!
