FAQs About Siemens Dynamo

Siemens Dynamo is open to a wide range of companies:

  • Innovative startups to established businesses in the Industry 4.0 and Digital Transformation domains
  • Companies with technologies or solutions aligned with Siemens' interests, particularly in industrial automation, digitalization, and smart factories
  • Our partners are typically mature businesses that have secured funding and identified their first repeatable and scalable use case in a specific industry or geographic region, which they now want to scale with us
  • Companies from different geographic regions - there are no specific location restrictions

  • There are two ways to be a part of the system:

    1. We scout startups for a Siemens stakeholder, and according to their requirements...
    2. We discover a potential startup, or it applies.
  • The startup is evaluated according to our requirements, our portfolio and our needs.
  • Afterwards, we validate with startup and Business Units to find a perfect match.
  • We set up a technology pilot and start execution.
  • Eventually, a Business Unit of Siemens takes over the responsibility, which means that:

    1. They use the product.
    2. They partner with the startup to include the product in their ecosystem.
    3. They partner with the startup to include the product in their portfolio.
    4. They invest in the startup.

After startups successfully finish the pilot project, the ambassadors integrate the Startups in different ways into their workflows (see above). The ambassadors come from different Siemens units and have varied areas of expertise related to innovation and technology.
