Originally from: I grew up and lived most of my life in Cincinnati, Ohio, US.

Currently based: I spent two years living in London and five years living in Tokyo with Siemens. Now I live in Venice Beach, Florida, US.

Education: Studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio, US

Siemens tenure: Over 35 years of tenure with Structural Dynamics Research Corporation (SDRC), Unigraphics, and Siemens.

Proud moments: I’m always proud to see our software being used by people live, in person, making their outstanding products. And I couldn’t be prouder of our people. We have an exceptional staff of dedicated people. Software is all about the people and long term, our people are crucial to our success.

Technical success: I love innovation and new ideas on how to turn our software from a tool kit to a customized solution package. I’m very motivated by creating our products, which help our customers create their products. I feel like at Siemens Digital Industries Software we are very technical and very customer-focused.

Family man: My three boys are the love of my life. I lost my wife to breast cancer a few years ago.

Career advice: Get with the smartest people you can find. Help them and you will improve yourself.
